  • Entry to our one day only Beyond Reasonable Doubt social experience unlike any other in the city

  • Think courtroom drama, debates and investigation all in one 

  • A real murder case - never before opened to the public

  • No gimmicks or props. No scripted actors. Real insights into the workings of a case with the outcome kept secret until the end

  • Professional facilitation by a former Met detective

  • 24 years investigating serious crimes, he has lived every stage you will work through

  • A full role in the investigation - from the 999 call to crown court

  • Detective, CSI, pathologist, barrister, judge, jury. Every role matters and every decision counts

  • Real evidence packs, case materials and forensic findings

  • You will be reviewing and working with actual documentation used in a real investigation

  • Lunch, included mid-investigation

  • Fuel up, compare notes, debate your theories before the courtroom drama begins

  • A crown court trial, where one of your group stands accused

  • The accused's fate rests entirely with the jury. The tension is real and the decision will be yours

  • A dynamic group of true crime enthusiasts

  • Where your instincts, your theories and arguments all count

  • A dedicated social space to debrief and celebrate your verdict

Time:

Doors open at 12pm so arrive on time to meet your team before we begin.

The experience is expected to end at 5pm.

Our events are designed for people coming solo - it’s how new connections are formed. But if you’d feel more comfortable bringing a friend, that’s fine too. Just don’t overthink it!

What are DUMO Socials all about?

We are all about being intentional about meeting new people through shared experiences. We truly believe when you’re in the right room, with the right energy, strangers don’t stay strangers for long.

Can I come alone?

Yes we absolutely encourage you to come alone! Our events are designed to build natural conversation with new faces so we always keep spaces limited. Most people join solo and where possible we will seat / group you with people of similar ages & interests.

What are the usual ages of attendees?

We normally attract a mixed group in the 30-44 age bracket but we of course have many people attending either side of this.

Our events are less about focusing on age and more about energy. If you’re open minded, love experiencing new things and up for meeting new people, you’ll fit right in.

Where is the event being held?

A private function room near Excel London - the full address will be shared after booking.

How long is the event and do I need to bring anything?

This will last around 5 hours - there is nothing you need to bring - just yourself!

What food options will be available?

We will have a range of meat and vegetarian options for lunch - please note we are unable to customise items for specific dietary requirements or allergies.

Is there parking at the venue?

A few spaces may be available on adjacent roads but we do recommend public transport where possible as the venue is well connected by local links.
