What is The Last Taste of Summer all about?

An opportunity to be intentional about meeting new people, all in a relaxed setting whilst enjoying great food and drinks.

We have curated this one off menu with an amazingly talented head chef who will be taking you on a nostalgic journey of the summer season

We truly believe when you’re in the right room, with the right energy, strangers don’t stay strangers for long! Find out more here

Can I come alone?

Yes we absolutely encourage you to come alone! Our events are designed to build natural conversation with new faces.

Most people join solo and on the day, you will be welcomed and shown to your seat. Throughout the courses you’ll move tables to mingle and connect with others in the room so you can meet as many people as possible.

If you would prefer to bring a plus one (or 3) to enjoy the experience with you, this is also fine too!

What are the usual ages of attendees?

We normally attract a mixed group in the 35-50 age bracket but we of course have many people attending either side of this.

As this is a seated event we will seat you with people of similar ages where possible. Our experiences are less about focusing on age and more about energy. If you’re open minded, love experiencing new things and up for meeting new people, you’ll fit right in!

Where is the event being held?

Stoke Newington, Hackney - the full address will be shared after booking. We always curate our events from the ground up, starting with a blank space and partner with beautiful, accessible venues that work perfectly for our experiences.

How long is the event and do I need to bring anything?

The experience lasts around 2-3 hours. There’s nothing you need to bring - just your appetite!

Will there be additional food options available?

Each reservation is for a set menu of seven curated courses. If you would prefer the vegetarian menu please select this at checkout - please note we are unable to customise items for specific dietary requirements or allergies.

Is there parking at the venue?

A few spaces may be available on adjacent roads but we do recommend public transport where possible as the venue is well connected by local links.
